Dental Warranties at Clínica MaxilofacialCom

Warranty Eligibility Criteria

The dental warranties provided by Clínica MaxilofacialCom apply exclusively when:

• The treatments have been completed and the patient has received clinical discharge.
• The treatments have been carried out in full by accredited professionals at Clínica MaxilofacialCom.
• The patient has strictly followed all post-treatment and maintenance instructions provided by the treating dentist.

General Warranty Exclusion Conditions

The warranty will be voided under the following circumstances:

1. Failure to follow the postoperative instructions and clinical check-ups prescribed by the treating dentist.
2. Missing the recommended clinical follow-up appointments.
3. Refusing the recommended treatment or choosing a treatment that the treating professional considers unpredictable or questionable.
4. The presence of additional conditions that affect the outcome or prognosis of the treatment, such as diabetes, chemotherapy, or other disorders that impair healing.
5. Having non-urgent clinical needs addressed at facilities other than Clínica MaxilofacialCom.
6. Evidence of interventions or damage caused by third parties.
7. Trauma that damages or affects the treatment performed.
8. Loss or improper handling of prosthetic or orthodontic appliances.
9. Failure to attend periodontal check-ups every six months.
10. Failure to attend dental check-ups.
11. Gum recession or the exposure of metals or dental implants is not covered.

Warranty Duration

• Periodontics, Oral Surgery, and TMJ Dysfunction: 30 days.
• Pediatric and Restorative Dentistry: 6 months.
• Implant placement surgery: 12 months.
• Dental implants (titanium post — internal fracture only): Lifetime.
• Dental Laboratory: 6 months.
• Post-extraction complications: Immediate warranty, provided post-surgical instructions are followed.

Services Not Covered by the Warranty

• Teeth whitening.
• Bone grafts.
• Graft protection membranes.
• Poorly maintained orthodontic appliances.
• Micro-screws and micro-plates.
• Gum recession or the exposure of prosthetic metals on the implant.
• Aesthetic dissatisfaction following prosthetic placement.
• Osseointegration of the implant more than one year after restoration (implant mobility).

Warranty Claim Procedure

1. The patient must submit their claim at Clínica MaxilofacialCom by speaking with the treating dentist and completing the form designated for this purpose.
2. The information will be reviewed by the center's Dental Director, who will determine the validity of the case together with the treating dentist.
3. If warranted, the case will be referred to the Internal Dental Audit Office for further review.
